The case was Nicholas Dean v. Charles Easterling and Advance Local Media, LLC, case no. 3:19-cv-566-TJC-JK. The plaintiff had filed a complaint, alleging defamation, intentional infliction of emotional distress, tortious interference with prospective economic advantage, and assault. On April 3, 2020, the Honorable US District Judge Timothy J. Corrigan entered a written order, dismissing the complaint for lack of personal jurisdiction.
